Question by lilspudluvin: Where would i search to find out about needlepoint art peices?

I am looking to find out where to gather information about a certain peice of needlepoint i was given, I have documents on the back of it and it has a name. and i want to know where in came from. was it a peice done over seas and brought to america. if it went threw all the channels of exporting etc.
