Deaf Bible Translation Team

The bible translation team who worked so very hard on the Kerala Sign Language Bible Story Set on DVD and storyboard book show their joy at how well their work was recieved by the crowd gathered for the dedication event the day previous. They have pioneered this work, being the first deaf bible translators in India. They are standing on the steps of their translation office and studio in Kochi, India. This team will travel to Nairobi, Kenya for the next full year to work on more translation at DOOR's international centre there.

We left everything as we found it but gave a small offering right next to the Bible that was on the table by the door. I wonder if the next occupant will be pleasantly surprised or paranoid about the one thing that might be missing.
