Today is opening day for the brand new building of the Alberta Childrens Hospital, a rather distinctive and colourful building perched high atop a hill overlooking the Trans Canada highway as it passes through Calgary...The old hospital is rather bland in comparison...

I am working on a project to create physical models of biological molecules with our ZCorp color 3D printer.Thanks to some brilliant people at my institution, we are reaching the stage where can create these models in cartoon form.If you have ever watched Nova or some other science program, you have likely seen these types of models spinning on your television screen.Now, imagine being able to hold it in the palm of your hand, fabricated in full color.I am still amazed at this.
