Question by Red: How can i tell the gender of my Bantam chick?

I'm raising a chick for an agriscience class and it is three days from being a month old. How can i tell the gender of my chick?

Finding the gender of your chick is an art, usually done by a professional sexer of chickens.
There are some secondary characteristics after about 6 weeks specific to your breed of chicken that you can start to tell yourself if it is a male or female, but you have to know your breed and look it up to see what characteristics your chicken has.
Below is a little info on telling the gender, but it is advised to go to a site that gives you some characteristics of your particular chicken to best tell what it is.
